Meet Tia Irv

Hi, I'm Tia — founder of Tia Irv Advisory, Inc. I am a Business strategist. Credit expert. Investment educator. Advocate for entrepreneurs who are ready to build real, lasting wealth. If you're here, you're probably trying to work through some of the same questions I once had to: how to make a business look credible, how to get it funded, and how to build a financial life that holds up alongside it. I didn't learn any of this in a classroom. I learned it by doing it. I've built business credit from nothing — and I've also watched a business I built come to an end. Both are part of why Tia Irv Advisory exists. Years ago, I built a car rental company from the ground up. I used business credit to finance and title several of the vehicles in the business's name — no personal guarantee behind them. That business eventually closed. But what I learned doing that — how business credit really works, what makes a company look credible to lenders and vendors, how to structure things right from day one — stayed with me. Before and since, I've spent years as a credit consulting analyst and ran my own credit repair company, helping people rebuild their personal credit and helping small business owners build theirs from scratch. I've seen exactly what separates businesses, banks, and vendors take seriously from the ones they turn away — and once that foundation is in place, the next question is always the same: now that the business is working, what do I do with what it earns? That's a question I've lived on the personal side too. I actively trade the stock market myself, and I've walked my own family members through estate planning, start to finish. So when I talk about maxing out a Roth IRA, choosing a brokerage, or getting the right documents in place, it's ground I've actually walked — not just something I read and repeated. My background is also in education and behavioral health, and that shapes how I teach: no jargon, just exactly what to do and in what order — the way I wish someone had laid it out for me. My goal with Tia Irv Advisory isn't just business credit. It's to hand people a real framework — for building a business that's credible and fundable, and for building a financial life, personal and business, that holds up alongside it. That's the legacy I'm after: real, usable knowledge, passed forward, meant to be used for legacy building.
